Room 13 St albans School 2015. With this week being maths week Miss Ward thought we would do something a little different. She introduced us to rich tasks and we talked about how there can be different answers and different ways to do things. We had fun teaching each other the different ways we worked the problem out. We are now learning to think of another way to work out a problem once we have solved it.
Room 14 St Albans School 2015. The children have worked so hard to complete their costume design for their dolls. I am so proud of the end result - the dolls really do reflect the initial plans and the end result is wonderful. Thanks to Debbi who has overseen a lot of the painting for this task. We had a fun start to Maths Week because Room 13 had a problem with their heat pump today so their room was too cold to work in - this was awesome for us because Room 13 joined us! We the.
And all our amazing learning so far. After weeks of practising at home we had our class poetry competition. All the students remembered their lines and were able to stand in front of our guest judge Jeanie and say their poem. Everyone did a wonderful job using clear voices, expression and some gestures. What a busy week! No week at St Albans School is ever the same! We started the week with a poetry show and ended it with a poetry competition, discovery, Wheelie Day AND assembly. Phew!
